Film suggestions
Is it to suggest for independent viewing to students, for an Italian film club, to supplement or complement work done in class? We all need suggestions. A while ago there was an email thread among teachers on the subject and lots of great ideas came out, some familiar, others less so. Things to consider
- Suitability for age groups
- Whether they have English subtitles and whether to use them (most have Italian subtitles for the hard of hearing).
- Whether to show full films or extracts. Study of short scenes can also be very effective especially on topics/themes.
