Certificate of Continuing Education in Italian 2026-7

Following the immensely successful launch, in September 2025, of a new online version of our long-established Certificate of Continuing Education (CCEd) in Italian, the University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow, is now accepting for 2026-27:

• applications for places in a new first-year cohort;
• expressions of interest, from suitably qualified candidates, in direct entry to second year.

The part-time and fully online CCEd programme is essentially a degree ‘bolt-on’, comprising the core modules studied by full-time undergraduate students in Years 1-3. Completion of Years 1-2 alone is sufficient in terms of credits for practising secondary teachers of other languages in Scotland to provisionally register in Italian, while the first online cohort also includes students from elsewhere in the UK.
